Rottweilers are not banned in the UK.
Answer #3:
Sounds pretty damn straight on to me.
I love Rotts! I grew up with them my whole life and they have always been loving, loyal and obedient dogs. the smartest dog i even had was my German rott Kc, who went def and we taught her to understand sign language commands.
Any dog can turn into an aggressive little Oops of an animal, you need to take the time and commitment needed to help them become all they can be.

Answer #6:
Are you under the impression that The Uk government/public have a bad opinion of rottweilers or believe them to be a dangerous dog.
Unfortunately for Rottweilers in the UK they have had a lot of bad press(they don't deserve this)there have been two children(babies killed by them and a woman that worked in boarding kennels had her arm ripped off by one).
One of the babies was taken from her cot by two rottweilers that were guard dogs for a pub they were known to be aggressive and were not allowed inside the pub but somebody left a door propped open and the dogs got in.
The other baby was killed in his grandmothers house whilst he was babysat by his 16 year old aunt, the grandmother had bought the dog as a guard dog from someone she met in a pub for £100. she had owned it for 6 months and it had never left the garden also neighbours had said it was aggressive.
In these cases it was the rottweiler owners that were to blame, these dogs were aggressive and should never have been around people.Any dog whatever the breed should not be aggressive and either needs training or putting down.
Unfortunately because of these tragic cases rottweilers in the UK became devil dogs.
There wasn't public outcry that the owners of these dogs be put in prison because of 2 bad owners hundreds of thousands of rottweilers were tarred with the same brush.
Any Vet or dog trainer will tell you that Rottweilers are great dogs,Powerful yes, aggressive if they are owned by the wrong sort of person.
