Question #1: How many show dogs actually end up in rescues?
I seen an answer that made me laugh, but wanted to check to see if it really happens.
For those of you in rescue..have you ever had a show dog come in, and have someone turn over the papers. breeding rights and everything to continue showing?

Question #2: Anyone who owns a Rottweiler... Are they good dogs?
I just got my 5th! dog.. yes 5th!
I rescued him from a guy who had 3 that let his dogs breed. He gave him to me free so I took him. My fiance is not too thrilled since I have a 9 week old APBT mix, and 2 other adult dogs.. plus his 3 year old Blue Heeler.
My fiance is telling me that he dislikes Rottweilers and is very nervous about owning one. He told me that his dad owned 2 and 1 of them wound up biting someone and he went to jail!.. Also, he told his dad that I just got a rottie pup, and his dad told him to make me get rid of it because it will be nothing but problems and i will get fined for it biting one day.
So, now my fiance is sorta mad at me because I want to keep the puppy while he wants me to find it a new home... And the funny thing is, I keep catching him cuddling and talking with/to the new puppy!!!.
Also, one of my adult dogs is a Rottweiler/Chow mix and she has been NO problems at all.
So, is a Pure Bred Rottweiler a BAD dog??? I take care of all my dogs perfectly fine, they all have their shots, my adult dogs just got their rabies shot,they all eat a good food (Evo),lots of toys and treats. Lots of attention... He keeps telling me I really gotta work with this new puppy if i plan on keeping him.. which I know that! He says Rottweilers have a worse rep than APBT's.. AGH! I am so gonna prove him wrong about Rotties.
Any advice?
also, this pup doesn't have a docked tail.. so some pure Rottie's have long tails? Can I get it cut now? or is he too old?

Question #3: how do i convince my mom to get me a dog #2?
i am old enough to get one, money is not the issue, my mom just doesn't believe that i am capable of caring for one she just keeps saying that she does't want to take car of one, but i told her i would pick up the poop, take it on walks, bathe it ( i have bathed my friends dogs before its fun!) play with it teach it tricks,and ive done research on dog breeds, and i've decided a maltise-poodle would be a good dog for us, small dogs thats what she likes ( i have kept my room clean, vacuumed, done laundry, gotten A's, i'm truley at a loss of what to do please help lots of answers needed thanks so much! :)

I have a pomeranian and two chihuahuas and they are all extremly hard headed to potty train. whats the easiest small breed dog to potty train?

Question #6: Is the term "half breed" an offensive term to call a person that is biracial?
if so why isn't mixed considered offensive?
